A place that feels like yours.
The Discord alternative with games built in, made on Tauri. No bloat. No ads. Just your server and your friends.
How we got here
Echoed started as Zorium — a Discord alternative focused on lightweight performance. We built a platform on Tauri and Rust that uses a fraction of the resources other chat apps demand.
As we listened to our community, we realized people weren't just looking for another chat app. They wanted a space that felt like theirs. A place away from mainstream social media noise. A secret spot for their inner circle.
So we evolved. We rebranded to Echoed to reflect that vision — the internet's lightweight basement where your squad hangs out off the grid. Today we use ~90MB of RAM versus Discord's 700MB+.
"We're not trying to be the next big thing. We're building the place you go to escape the big things."
