Echoed runs on its own native authentication. Here are the only cookies Echoed uses:

Cookie Properties

Our authentication cookies are configured with the following security settings:

• HttpOnly: The cookie cannot be accessed by JavaScript, protecting against XSS attacks
• Secure: The cookie is only sent over HTTPS connections
• SameSite: Set to prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks
• Path: Restricted to our application paths only

What We Don't Use

Unlike most platforms, we do not use:

• Advertising Cookies: We don't show ads, so we don't need to track you for advertisers
• Analytics Cookies: We don't use Google Analytics or similar tracking services
• Social Media Cookies: We don't embed social media trackers
• Third-Party Cookies: We don't allow third parties to set cookies through our platform
• Fingerprinting: We don't use browser fingerprinting techniques

Managing Cookies

Since we only use essential authentication cookies, there's no cookie consent banner to deal with. These cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function.

Deleting Cookies

You can delete our cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that this will log you out of Echoed and you'll need to sign in again.
